Why Diwali should be banned

Legislature should be making the laws. Judiciary should be applying the law.
But, in the last few years, in India we have been witnessing a strange phenomenon. Every dispute goes to the court which orders a compromise solution - a sophisticated katta-panchayath.
The lordships behave like lords, considering themselves the ultimate authority on any subject like administration, religion, cultural issues and even cuisine.
The courts use different yard sticks for interpretation and so we find India being actually administered by disparate supreme court judgements.
